Glendale Public Library

As part of the Douglas County Library, readers in Glendale have access to an enourmous array of material. The DCL library system connects 11 libraries, including Glendale, allowing card holders to check out books and magazines at any location. Their unique online catalog allows you to reserve material from their website, and pick it up at the branch of your choice. 

The Glendale Library offers books and magazines for checkout, daily area newspapers, a special section for children and young adults and computers with high speed Internet access and Wi-Fi. Smiling librarians greet each guest as they arrive, and are happy to help with all of your library needs.


Library Programs

Children's Storytime
Wednesday 11:00 am
September to May
This storytime features stories, songs and crafts for listeners age three and up, accompanied by an adult. Siblings are welcome.

Summer Reading Program
Wednesday 3:00 pm
June & July
This annual favorite rewards children and teens for reading over the summer. Each week a new program features activities, songs and special guests at the library.

Glendale Book Club
The Glendale Book Club reads a new book each month, and meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm.
